Dr. Chimechefulam Onyewuchi, fondly known as Dr. Chime, is a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician committed to delivering patient-centred, holistic care.He obtained his medical degree from the University of Port Harcourt in 2012 and later completed a Master’s degree in Pharmacology. He began his postgraduate training in General Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, gaining broad experience across multiple specialties including cardiology, neurology, and kidney care.
Dr. Chime advanced to a senior registrar role in nephrology, where he managed complex kidney conditions and contributed to the training of medical students and junior doctors. In 2019, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he worked in acute and elderly care medicine while completing his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).
He later transitioned into General Practice training in the UK, gaining extensive experience in comprehensive primary care. He is passionate about building strong relationships with patients and believes in empowering individuals through education and shared decision-making. Dr. Chime welcomes patients of all ages and has a particular interest in complex and chronic medical conditions, medication reviews and polypharmacy, and joint injections.
